Hey everyone! Sara Baker, also known as our friend needs our help once more! We've made a difference in the past and it's time to step up and make a difference again. I know that money is tight all around right now, but I also know that there are small sacrifices that we can make in our lives in order to make a BIG difference in her life!

To catch you up:
Sara has been "locked -in" since a car accident in October 2007. She's made a lot of progress since then and we've been rooting for her all along. She did move home for a while, but on Sunday, July 12th Sara went to the hospital with low O2 saturation and a high heart rate. On the ambulance ride in, she went into respiratory arrest, AKA she stopped breathing and had to be resuscitated. She got the medical attention she needed, but they had to put her under for a day or so. To make a long story short, she's awake now but still in the ICU. She's got a lot of troublesome things going on including a nasty staph infection.

Her mom has been posting about their money troubles. She lost her full time job (along with loads of other people lately) and she's been doing contracting work and stuff to get by. Yesterday her truck was repossessed.

It's clear from her posts that Sara's family NEEDS OUR HELP!

Be honest with yourself: how lucky are you? I got to thinking this morning and really, honestly, I'm very lucky. My husband and I still have our jobs right now and we're paying our mortgage. We still go out to dinner once in a while. When SO many people are having so much trouble right now, it's really clear to me that there are sacrifices I can make to help others.
