Even though I haven't been taking plushie commissions in the last few weeks, I do have my local stitching group every Monday night at 7PM and I needed SOME kind of project to work on.
So here she is, the little product of my love! I thought Pluto would be a fun senshi to make because I like her earrings and I wanted to make a bun in her hair. Also, she is pretty. :3
This plushie was given away in a raffle to raise money for the Sara Baker Trust Fund. See SarasCourage.org for more info.
She is made of felt, her eyes are hand drawn iron on transfer, and the gemstones on her bow and tiara are acrylic gems. She's stuffed with Polyfill.
I went back and colored her eyes darker, so I've posted a new pic to show it.
Wow, every time I look at your plushies, they just seem to get better, this one is the best by far
Let me firstly say it's awesome how you managed to get all the real colours, makes he look really professional, and I love the gems you've used for her tiara and bow, make her look stunning
I think you could probably darken the eye colour, as you said in your description, it's gone a little pink, and against her boldly coloured outfit, they look a little sun-bleached, if you get me
I hope it's also fair for me to say that the hair looks amazing, but her bun is a little flat, and it could do with being a bit bigger, maybe get a pattern for a plushie ball and sew it onto her head?
The amount of time you must have spent on her really shows in the amount of detail included, I ADORE her skirt, it's really lovely
Awesome work on the plush. From my experience, the stitching is great. The eyes look great, although I do think you should darken them. You can't see any places where you glued, which I have seen other plush artists (including myself) do. I really like your pattern for sewing.
The bun could be a little larger, and her ears could be a tad smaller. Other than the bun size, I love her hair - excellent job with the bang shape, although they could lie a little more flat on her head.
I love the detail that you put into all the elements of this 3D piece. Great job overall. Excellent working out of the idea of Puu as a plush, and the only reason I didn't give it more impact or originality is because she is someone's else's character.
Oh Wow You have done a Beautiful Job i have just recently got into making more plushies myself. so Im looking at other artists to see how I can improve.
I want to start plush-making as a hobby and I was wondering what kind of fabric you used? I want a fabric that won't become worn easily and can handle rough play (lots of hugs ). Any recommendations?

Overall, a beautiful piece, you should be proud
